We stayed 3 nights and appreciated the UNBEATABLE location. Small garden and great pool. The beach was lovely. The indoor restaurant onsite had exquisite dishes.
-
Efficient business location, modern restaurant - hospitable service. Amenable staff, were ready to help.
-
It is a whole new hotel with ideal staff and location.
-
Everything was just perfect as always. The room was very tiny, super comfortable bed. Warm reception. Besides, there was public parking nearby.
-
Magnificent location, efficient staff, really so so comfy bed. We got double room and thoroughly enjoyed it. Price of the breakfast is gbp 10 per person. Relaxing base for 1 night.
-
Good value for money. Close to shops, near also from the train station, and really clean
-
Breakfast was included, that was a bonus.
-
A contemporary atmosphere, very clean rooms and welcoming staff. There is Oink serving quick meals 5 mins walk from the hotel. Private parking nearby was provided. Nothing to complain about, we would stay here again when in Edinburgh.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes!
-
Excellent location, close to shops. clean bathroom and tea cakes were provided for free
-
Nice restaurant and accommodating staff. The bed was comfortable and there was free Wi-Fi. Super base for a short stay. Apart from that, scottish national gallery was 5 minutes away by driving. The bar was adjoining.

The location of the hotel is great, and is very close to the castle and the royal mile.
The room I stayed in was very small and the Shower temperature would not remain constant and kept going very hot.Sink/Toilet area was tiny.
-
After seeing previous reviews on this hotel was a bit apprehensive, however, staff could not have been more helpful, bed and room was spotless (dated I agree) but nothing to complain about. One thing that could help would be to improve the entrance area to the hotel.

It situated really exellent
The price should be a little bit smaller

Location near other facilities
Carrying my suitcase up two storeys. No working tv in the room. Very noisy extractor fan in the toilet

A shabby, noisy dive of a place. The bed was uncomfortable. Banging doors need fixing as the noise reverberates around the building. Standard of cleanliness was poor and strange smells were to be found along the corridors. The whole place needs redecorating and refurbishing. Staff didn't appear focussed on the job of hospitality. At £297 for the room only for three nights this was a rip-off. I haven't experienced the like since a foetid youth hostel in Yugoslav Macedonia in 1984. Get your act together please.
